How it All Started...
“I know how it feels to study a new language for years, only to stay stuck.”
In high school, I was taught English the traditional way. For passing exams, this approach worked fine, but when it was time to speak, nothing came out. By the end of high school, I had only reached a B1 level and still couldn’t have real conversations. I even tried expensive one-on-one lessons, but that method just wasn’t for me. It only left me more frustrated.
One day, I came across the Comprehensible Input Method by the globally respected linguist Dr. Stephen Krashen. I began immersing myself in meaningful, understandable content — the same way we naturally acquire language as children. This engaging method felt truly amazing and I made steady progress every day. After nine months, I reached fluency in English.
Recently, I started learning Spanish using comprehensible content. After just 180 days of daily input, I was already able to understand native TV shows with ease and hold basic everyday conversations. It reminded me once again how powerful the Comprehensible Input Method is — and if it worked for me, it can work for you too!
This experience inspired me to create my own learning platform for German. Luckily, my background in content creation and web design helped turn that vision into reality. After a year filled with creativity and dedication, DailyGerman finally went online on July 1st, 2026.
